Small Steps Create Big Shifts - To Remember This
In 2022, in the middle of a year that felt uncertain in many ways, I borrowed a drone for the first time. After ten minutes in the air, I was completely hooked. It wasn’t about getting the perfect shot. It was the perspective - the way landscapes unfolded differently from above - that made something click.
Soon after that first flight, I bought my own drone. Within a month, I obtained my first license. Not long after, the second followed. What started as curiosity quickly became commitment.
The early flights were cautious. I was learning how not to crash, how to read wind, how to understand space from a distance. Most of what I captured never made it anywhere. But I kept flying.
Slowly, the improvement became visible. Early mornings turned into routine. Batteries charging overnight. Reviewing footage that didn’t work, just to understand why. The small adjustments - framing, altitude, timing - began to add up.
Three years later, those small steps have become something tangible. Hundreds of hours in the air. Hundreds of images. Short films. A longer research-based film presented at a conference. Projects created not from a master plan, but from consistency.
This website gathers that process. Not a sudden transformation, but the result of many deliberate choices - one flight at a time.
Looking back, the impact feels significant. Living through it, it was simply the next takeoff.
